I play, buy, collect and sell trombones and attempt to describe the horn in the way in which I would want it described.Īll the horns I sell are in playable condition, unless otherwise stated. Horn is being sold as-is, with no returns in the condition shown in the pictures, so please review all images and message me with any questions. Includes the original case, which has some wear on it, but still works fine, minus missing a latch, and mouthpiece. ![]() Inner slide tubes are essentially spotless, minus a bit of wear near the end. The worst of the denting/scratching is in the form of minor indentations in the bell flare that were probably caused by the mouthpiece rattling against the bell in the case. Finish is good, but there are also a few scratches here and there from normal use, as well as, what I would call, tarnish spots mainly present on the bell section, which is shown in the pictures. ![]() This horn has virtually no denting having only minor blemishes in the crook, bell and tuning slide that are largely unnoticeable. ![]() This is an original 1941 Holton Collegiate trombone made in Elkhorn Wisconsin. Mouthpiece: Yes, Collegiate Frank Holton & Co. ![]()
